The 2800 Orca (HL-2800) with External Pump is a high-efficiency MicroBulk delivery system engineered to deliver fast, reliable, and cost-effective on-site cryogenic distribution for liquid nitrogen (LIN), liquid argon (LAR), and liquid oxygen (LOX) services. Designed to complete a full fill operation in 3 to 15 minutes with no product loss under normal operating conditions, the HL-2800 optimizes delivery routes, reduces driver labor, and maximizes fleet asset utilization.
Equipped with an Ext 60 external pump system and an automatic fill termination mechanism, the unit prevents overfilling while eliminating associated safety hazards and product venting. Its single-hose delivery circuit minimizes line contamination, cooldown losses, and pressure drop during transit. Built with durable stainless steel and bronze plumbing, a heavy-duty inner vessel support system for rugged road conditions, and an ergonomic rear control cabinet, the 2800 Orca offers versatile, high-performance transport in either truck or trailer mounting configurations.
Smart Metering Infrastructure: Features a Flowcom 3000 electronic metering system approved by NIST and California Weights & Measures, providing accurate, electronic flow measurement with zero moving parts in the meter section.
Automated Subcooling & Dispensing: Standard auto-subcool functionality simplifies driver operation, prevents cooldown product loss, and accelerates delivery cycle times.
Single-Hose Delivery Circuit: Streamlines hookup and delivery across both low-flow MicroBulk storage tanks and high-flow bulk receiving vessels.
All-Weather Reliability: Onboard control electronics and instrumentation are rated for dependable operation in extreme weather down to -40°F/°C.
Serviceable Cabinet Design: Large rear control cabinet includes removable access panels and an easily removable, calibrated meter column for simplified maintenance and recalibration.
High-Pressure Assist (Optional): Optional delivery assist package provides 3,300 SCF capacity in nitrogen service with discharge pressures up to 475 psig and flow rates up to 1,800 SCFH.
